Vision

Becoming a leading notary study program in independent, skilled, and professional based on the values of Indonesian Maritime Continent 2030.

Vision of notary study program is the derivation of the Vision of Law Faculty Hasanuddin University namely the  Eminent Center for Human Development and Eminent Center for Legal Science based on Maritime Continent 2030.  Vision of this program study also derived from University Vision, as Eminent Center for Human Development, Science, Technology, Art and Culture based in Indonesian Maritime Continent.

Regarding the vision above, it contains values that inspire notary study programs through values :

1.    Eminent, the Notary Study Program is a combined degree, meaning graduates not only academic ability but also professional ability in the field of notary whose graduates are able to work professionally and own the characteristics of maritime values, namely:

a.    Integrity, meaning honest (lempu), brave (warani), responsible and persistent (getteng)

b.    Innovative, meaning the combination of creative intelligence (macca), quality orientation, independent and pioneering.

c.    Catalytic, meaning having courage, determination, dedication and competitiveness.

d.    Wise, meaning the manifestations of mutual respect (sipakatau), reminding (sipakainge) and glorifying (sipakalebbi) each other.

2.    Independent, meaning the notary master study program has certain standard in accepting new students. The students candidates are tested in 4 subjects, interviews, TOEFL and TPA. In addition, independent values are reflected in the involvement of the notary as lecturers in deed course and thesis examiners.

3.    Skilled, meaning that notary graduates own ability in their profession related to the creating deeds.

4.    Professionals, notary graduates in carrying out their profession provide fast and appropriate services in creating deeds and legal counseling.

Mission

1.    Organizing credible and innovative academic and profession education in notary field based on local wisdom.

2.    Conducting a high quality of research by realizing academic values that are transparent, high morality and virtuous.

3. Disseminate legal knowledge in the field of notary for the benefit of society based on Indonesian Maritime Values.
