Additional Course Rules

 

 

Academic Leave

  1. Academic leave for 1 (one) Semester is permitted only a maximum of 2 (two) times during the study period and not permitted in two consecutive semesters, as well as never withdrawing from a whole course;
  2. Academic leave is not permitted consecutively with A resignation from the whole course;
  3. Academic leave is not permitted in the first four semesters;
  4. A student with a scholarship is not permitted to take academic leave;
  5. Student of the cooperation class is not permitted to take academic leave except otherwise stipulated in the cooperation agreement;
  6. During academic leave, a student cannot follow all academic activities in any form.
  7. A request for academic leave must obtain consent from the head of the study program or KPS and is submitted in writing to the Administrative Bureau Academic through Dean no later than 1 (one) week before the inaugural lecture;
  8. Academic leave period will not be taken into account in the calculation of the study period;
  9. Student on academic leave does not have to pay tuition fees.

 

Appeal Procedures

  1. Students who want to raise objections to the study results, can go through the complaint mechanism to the assigned academic staff of the course or course coordinator.
  2. If the coordinator agrees to improve/change the score/grade, he can immediately correct the score in NEOSIA.
  3. If the time limit for grade submission has expired, the objections by students can still be made based on the applicable regulations.
  4. The proposed change in grades based on this regulation only applies to courses presented in the current semester, with a deadline of 1 week after the grade submission according to the applicable academic calendar.

 

 

Course Replacement and Cancellation

Cancellation or replacement of one or more courses is possible in accordance to its scheduled academic calendar.  However, any request to cancel or replace the course, must be jointly approved by Main Advisor, Head of the Study Program, and Dean of the Faculty.

 

Drop-Out Rules

Student shall be declared dropped out of the study if:

  1. Finish study period according to applicable regulations;
  2. Resign voluntarily;
  3. According to an evaluation at the end of Semester IV, not having achieved a GPA of at least 2.00, which counts from at least 48 credits that have been passed;
  4. Discharged for conducting crime and/or violating provisions stipulated by the government and/or the University.

The dropout of study decision shall be set out separately in a Rector Regulation.

This Study Program offers no special education services. However, the Program enforces a non-discrimination policy in their enrollment and study process. It means that any individual who has disability(s) or special needs may be equally admitted and participate in the study process of the Program.

Facilities

The faculty provides Supporting facilities for learning such as Classrooms, reading room, legal clinic and laboratory, contract and deed drafting room, moot court room, video conference hall, lecturer and student consultation room, and elevator.

Vital and sophisticated online infrastructure among other things: LCD screens, available student hot-spot, Integrated E-learning networks (i.e., SIKOLA and LIS), course management network (i.e. NEOSIA), video conference network, and official site.

Aside from Faculty-based facilities, Hasanuddin University also offers the following supporting facilities, those are: Central Library, and Sport Center, Counselling Center.
